Chauffeurdriven tour with new friends from Minnesota.

My latest tour group, all the way from Minnesota, arrived in Galway yesterday, and we began our tour in the Connemara region today, taking in the coastal regions, and ending up in the Cong area, better known as "The Quiet Man Country".
The forecast was not great, but it turned out to be a really nice sunny day.
The latest Pop idol, Ed Sheeran, is presently on tour in Ireland, and Mary just had to get up close and friendly with him in the Harbour hotel this morning. Her pals back home are going to be pulling their hair out.
All ready to go outside their hotel this morning. The Harbour is a really nice and very well located hotel, right in the heart of Galway city.
Our tour took us around the coast as we made our way to Clifden on the Wild Atlantic Way route, a journey which is now one of the most popular routes in all of Ireland.
From the left here we have, Ron, Mary, Tim,Teresa, Chris, Kathy, and of course, Debra.
Looks like Tim was really trying to get himself into the picture here. The old Abbey is in the background, as is Debra, who is nearly blocked out of the picture by Tim.Kylemore Abbey, in the heart of Connemara, is a really beautiful place to visit.

The fjord at Leenane is actually the most westerly fjord in Europe, and here we have Ron and Mary, posing with the fjord in the background.
Kathy and Chris make a nice picture in the same spot.
Finally, Teresa, Debra and Tim, looking happy together in the sunshine in Leenane.
Our final destination today was the quaint harbour town of Kinvara, but we stopped off in Cong in the famous "Quiet Man Country" where my group are pictured together at the memorial to that famous Duo of Maureen O'Hara and John Wayne, the stars of that great movie.
This was a very nice and pleasant day and one i feel we all enjoyed, eventhough it was quiet a long journey. The weather was lovely, cool, but with the freshest of clean air.
Tonight my new friends are enjoying the very popular town of Kinvara, which is located on the southern shores of Galway Bay.
A nice meal, and a few small drinks, will round off what was a very nice first day together.
